Tidet
Tidet is an agentic IDE for desktop coding work.
What Tidet is
Tidet is an agentic IDE for desktop coding work. It keeps an agent run’s plan, actions, diff, evidence, and cost in a record that can be reviewed. The workspace includes an editor, terminal, Git, Docker dashboard, browser preview, Jupyter notebooks, and a PDF viewer. Workflows support sub-agents, persistent Agent Teams, deterministic processes, isolated worktrees, and checkpoints. Model choices include Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, AWS Bedrock, Ollama, and compatible endpoints such as OpenRouter, Groq, and vLLM. Tidet also describes Docker, AWS, SSH, and optional Chromium live-preview integrations. MCP servers can use stdio or HTTP, with health checks and credentials resolved from the operating system keychain. Controls include permission modes, approval gates, protected paths, secret redaction, worktree isolation, and guarded merges. Prompts go to the provider selected by the user. Optional Cloud keys are sealed in the browser before upload, while Cloud stores unreadable ciphertext. Desktop is free for individuals, non-profits, and teams of up to three; Cloud and larger-team plans are open by request during beta.
