Pipes
Pipes is a visual editor for building feeds by connecting blocks that fetch, create, and transform data.
What Pipes is
Pipes is a visual editor for building feeds by connecting blocks that fetch, create, and transform data. It accepts RSS, Atom, and JSON feeds, plus HTML documents and plain text files. Blocks can filter, extract, merge, sort, and otherwise manipulate feed content. Data blocks work with XML and JSON and support JSONPath-style field selection. Feed-only pipes output RSS by default; pipes using data blocks output XML, with JSON available by adding json to the feed URL. The Feed block lists Vimeo, Dailymotion, Periscope, Mixcloud, Reddit, SVT Play, Speedrun.com, and YouTube integrations. Users can publish pipes with descriptions and tags, allowing others to find, like, or fork them. Anyone who knows a randomized output URL can access that feed. Pipes runs as a web service, while Pipes CE is a free AGPL-licensed open-source edition for local self-hosting. The hosted Free plan costs nothing for three pipes and a shorter timeout. Supporter costs 5.00 USD monthly; Regular costs 20.00 USD; Pro costs 79.00 USD. Paid plans can be cancelled monthly.
