Mail uses SSL/TLS 1.2 or higher in transit and AES-256 encryption for message bodies and attachments at rest; the key ring is encrypted as well. Every plan includes a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement. MailHippo records message access, including the authorized user, date, time, and records accessed. Its API supports attachments, CC/BCC recipients, HTML content, and inbound messages through a webhook. A 30-day trial is available; Basic costs $4.95 a month per user and Pro costs $7.95 a month per user.
