Mail Backup X
Mail Backup X is a mail backup, archiving, management and conversion product for home users and businesses.
What Mail Backup X is
Mail Backup X is a mail backup, archiving, management and conversion product for home users and businesses. It continuously backs up Apple Mail, Outlook, Office 365, Thunderbird, Postbox and services using IMAP or Microsoft Exchange. Archives can be restored or converted to EML, PST, RGE, MBOX and OLM, with search by sender, subject, words, date range, attachment type and AND/OR queries. Copies can be mirrored to Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, FTP or USB storage. The vendor says archives are encrypted and kept on destinations controlled by the user rather than its servers; losing the personal encryption key prevents decryption, including by the vendor. Team Edition adds remote management, an admin dashboard and backup-status alerts. Personal Edition costs $59, paid once for one user, five mail profiles, two computers and one year of maintenance updates. A fully functional 15-day trial and 24 x 7 email support are offered. macOS 10.13+, Windows 8+, Synology and QNAP NAS are supported.
