LumenScan

What LumenScan is

LumenScan is a document-scanning app for Indian paperwork, available on Android and iOS. It captures pages, recognizes text, extracts GST details, masks Aadhaar numbers, and can sign PDFs on the device. Its OCR works offline and reads English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The app detects document edges, corrects perspective, reduces shadows, and exports scans as PDF, JPEG, PNG, or Word documents. Scans can be sorted into ID, Invoice, Receipt, Legal, and Notes categories, then organized with tags and favorites or found through full-text search. Users can share files with other apps, save business cards to Contacts, and optionally sync scans to their own iCloud account on iOS. The maker says scans and OCR text stay on the device; optional iCloud sync uses the user's private account. A biometric vault and password-protected PDF exports are available, as is on-device Aadhaar and PAN masking before sharing. The free plan includes daily scans, PDF export, on-device OCR, and no account requirement. Pro removes the daily scan limit and unlocks additional features.
