Lessonly is a web-based lesson-planning platform for teachers and educators in the United Kingdom. Its AI creates curriculum-aligned lesson plans with content differentiated for different key stages. A dashboard helps users organise class groups, student profiles and schedules, while teaching guides, progress tracking and a lesson-plan library support ongoing teaching work. The intended audience includes teachers, tutors, early career teachers and trainees. The service is free, with a free plan and no credit card required. It includes standards alignment, collaboration and AI lesson generation; mobile access is web-only. Lessonly says prompts and generated content are not used to train AI models, although AI providers may retain submitted data for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring and safety. Account data remains while an account is active and for 30 days after deletion; user content is deleted within 30 days of account deletion. The service is not guaranteed to be continuously available or uninterrupted.
