Instant Terra is a Windows application for procedural terrain generation. It supports both map dimensions, custom assets and seed control, allowing creators to shape repeatable terrain results. Exports include heightmaps, meshes, masks, color maps, normal maps, vector maps and flow maps. Destinations include Unreal Engine, Unity, Houdini and Clarisse. The product uses a freemium model with a free plan, alongside perpetual paid licenses. Instant Terra costs $149, paid once for terrain up to 8k × 8k, users with revenue under $500k, and one year of updates. Instant Terra Unlimited costs $199, paid once, removes the terrain-size limit, keeps the under-$500k revenue condition and includes one year of updates. Schools and students can receive free educational licenses. The application is made by Wysilab, headquartered in Montpellier, France.
