Ink
Ink is a shared whiteboard where people and AI assistants create plans, forms, diagrams, and pages on a live canvas.
What Ink is
Ink is a shared whiteboard where people and AI assistants create plans, forms, diagrams, and pages on a live canvas. Collaborators can work on the same board, with changes attributed to whoever made them. AI edits are saved as checkpoints that users can roll back. Boards can collect form submissions, keep responses in board records, and export them as spreadsheets. Users can share a board by link, embed it on a website, or present it as a step-by-step walkthrough. Its MCP connection instructions cover Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and other agents able to read a URL. Ink says it does not sell data, run server-side AI, or use boards or records to train models. It is an installable web app for iPhone and iPad, Android, and desktop browsers, but does not support offline editing. The Free plan is free and includes unlimited boards and agent collaborators, with interactive Pro blocks on 3 boards. Pro costs $5 a month and adds Pro blocks on unlimited boards, forms, records, and live data everywhere.
Good
- People and AI agents can collaborate on boards.
- AI edits have rollback checkpoints.
- Forms store responses and export as spreadsheets.
- Boards can be linked, embedded, or presented.
- Available on Android, iOS, and web.
Watch out
- Offline editing is not supported.
- Everyone on a board can read its full document.
- Locked frames prevent writing, not viewing.
- Unclaimed boards are deleted after 30 days.
Who it suits
Ink suits people and teams who want a shared canvas for planning, diagrams, or forms, including collaboration with AI agents. It may also fit users who need to collect and export form responses.
Verdict
Ink combines a collaborative canvas with form collection, publishing, and AI-agent connections. Keep in mind that board members can read the whole document and that editing requires an internet connection.

- Collaboration
- People and AI agents can work together on a board, and changes show who made them.checked 30 Sep 2026
- Connection integrations
- Credentialed connections proxy read-only JSON GET requests beneath a configured URL prefix; POST and other writes are refused.checked 14 Oct 2026
- Credential protection
- Connection credentials are AES-GCM encrypted and agent tokens are hashed; the service says it performs no server-side model inference.checked 14 Oct 2026
