in-STEP BLUE is process-based project management software for organizations that need to plan and track schedules, effort, costs, staff assignments, budgets, milestones, and work packages. Gantt charts, project structure plans, plan-versus-actual comparisons, and automated workflows support project planning. Alongside project management, it covers requirements, change, testing, risk, resources, documents, and versions. Teams can use templates for V-Modell XT, PRINCE2, Automotive SPICE, and Scrum, or adapt the software to company-specific practices. Deployment is available on-premises or in a cloud environment using a central Oracle database. Its browser-based Web App provides a configurable dashboard, Gantt planning, document and form creation, activity and state editing, and file uploads. On-premises users can edit documents and forms offline, then synchronize them with the database. Integrations and data exchange options include Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, ReqIF, Active Directory, Atlassian Confluence and Jira, Lotus Notes, Outlook, and SCC. A documented WebService interface supports communication with other programs and custom integrations. A customized test setup is available to business customers by request; pricing is also on request.
