GPG Suite
GPG Suite is a macOS collection for encrypting, decrypting, signing, and verifying files or email.
What GPG Suite is
GPG Suite is a macOS collection for encrypting, decrypting, signing, and verifying files or email. GPG Mail adds those operations to Apple Mail and automatically decrypts and verifies encrypted or signed attachments. GPG Keychain manages OpenPGP keys, including creation, editing, imports from key servers or contacts, and advanced choices for key size, expiry, and algorithm. GPG Services places the same cryptographic actions in the macOS Services menu for selected text, files, and folders. MacGPG supplies the underlying engine and is based on GnuPG. The maker says the suite is released under open source licences and can be compiled under the GPL. GPG Mail offers a 30-day trial to users who have not started one before. After expiry, encrypted messages remain readable, but encrypting, signing, and verifying require a support plan for the current major version. GPG Mail 8 is in beta and requires an active GPG Mail 7 Support Plan.
