Google Keep is a free app for creating and sharing notes, lists, photos, drawings and audio.
What Google Keep is
Google Keep is a free app for creating and sharing notes, lists, photos, drawings and audio. Search notes and sort them with colors, labels, pins and filters; you can add reminders to track deadlines. Notes can be updated offline, with edits syncing after the device reconnects. Keep is available on the web, Android and iOS, and its Chrome extension saves URLs, text and images to Keep and syncs them across those platforms. Shared notes support real-time editing, including changes to text, lists, images, drawings and audio recordings. Note that deleting a shared note you own removes it for everyone. Keep allows up to 50 labels, and on shared notes, only the person who applied colors, labels or pins can see those choices. You can add notes from Google Workspace apps and export them to Google Docs; reminders can also appear in Google Tasks and Google Calendar. Listed integrations include Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Chat, Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides. Google Keep is free; a Google Workspace Business Starter plan is also listed at $7 a month, billed per user per month with a one-year commitment.
