Folx is a macOS download manager and torrent client with free and paid editions.
What Folx is
Folx is a macOS download manager and torrent client with free and paid editions. It can resume interrupted downloads, use a configured proxy, and capture downloads through plugins for Safari, Firefox, Opera, and Chrome. Downloads can receive tags and be located through macOS Spotlight. The free version divides each download into two threads; Folx PRO supports up to 20 simultaneous threads per download and adds scheduling, speed control, a password saver, Apple Music integration, and built-in torrent search. Downloaded music and videos can be sent to Music, formerly iTunes, and organized into playlists according to tags. Folx requires macOS 10.13 or later and needs a direct download link or torrent; it cannot download YouTube videos. The free plan includes essential manager and torrent features, browser integration, proxy support, and smart tagging. A Personal License costs 19.95 USD once for one Mac, while the Family Pack costs 39.95 USD once for three Macs. Minor updates are free; major updates can be bought at a 50% discount.
