What Evalex VIA is

Evalex VIA is a cloud-based web platform for asynchronous, one-way video interviews. Recruiters and hiring managers set position-specific questions, and candidates record responses in their own time for later review. Candidates can use a smartphone, computer or tablet without downloading software. Multiple hiring committee members can review recordings independently, with their opinions combined into an overall result. VIA standardizes interviews by presenting the same questions in the same order and allowing equal response time. Scoring options include Behaviourally Anchored Rating Scales and algorithms that combine and weight ratings and scores. Clients can create bespoke templates, questions and competencies or use vendor frameworks and a template catalogue. Its role-based dashboard tracks projects and candidate progress, supports suitability monitoring and interview analysis, and sends automated status notifications. VIA is integrated with Odyssey and Evalex assessment solutions; interview outcomes can also be integrated with psychometric assessments, gamification and leadership simulations. The vendor offers prospective customers remote training and a demo, which is not for candidates.
