Downtime Monkey

What Downtime Monkey is

Downtime Monkey is a web service for monitoring uptime, keywords, and servers. It sends alerts through email, SMS, and Slack. The Free plan costs nothing and includes 60 monitors, five-minute checks, one monitoring location, and 90 days of statistics. Pro costs $0.69 a month when billed yearly, with one monitor, one-minute checks, six monitoring locations, five free SMS credits, two years of statistics, and two years of downtime logs. The service’s listed monitoring capabilities include keyword and server checks, alongside standard availability monitoring. This creates a clear plan distinction: Free provides a larger monitor allowance, while Pro offers faster checking, more locations, SMS credits, and longer records. Downtime Monkey runs on the web, and no desktop platform is listed.
