AstraGrade
AstraGrade is a web gradebook for teachers and educational professionals who assess students against learning standards.
What AstraGrade is
AstraGrade is a web gradebook for teachers and educational professionals who assess students against learning standards. Teachers create assessments, attach the standards being evaluated, and rate students on those standards. Course mastery can be calculated from the most recent scores, highest achieved scores, the mean, or weighted recency. Views show mastery by student and standard together with assessment rating history. Standards and student records can be entered manually or imported from a CSV spreadsheet. Keyboard grading assigns ratings with the 1–4 keys. The service is intended for teachers, including music instructors, athletic coaches, and homeschool co-ops. AstraGrade Pro includes unlimited courses and students, a standards library, custom standards, per-standard mastery tracking, progress reports, and report-card export and sharing. It costs $65 a year after a 30-day trial, and there is no free plan. The service says it does not sell user or student data. Passwords use bcrypt hashes, transit uses HTTPS, and access is limited to authenticated users and internal staff. Account and classroom data are permanently deleted within 30 days after an account deletion request.
