ansitel TAPI und CTI Client links a computer with a telephone so users can manage calls and customer information from a desktop. Its call controls include answering, click-to-dial, conference calls, hold, call swapping, forwarding, call history, presence status and speed-dial hotkeys. During a call, users can open, manage and edit customer records. TAPI application options include Outlook, CRM systems such as Lotus Notes, ERP systems and LDAP phone books. The client can also send and receive faxes through a PC. The maker says its CTI functions work with phones and VoIP telephone systems that have a TAPI interface; a TAPI driver connects TAPI programs to ansitel VoIP systems under Windows. For enterprise applications, ansitel offers a CTI server and an API for handling incoming and outgoing calls, including caller numbers across multiple devices. The product is deployed on-premises and is paid, with pricing on request. A downloadable demo is available, and the installation guide says it can be tested for 30 days.
