After much teasing, Xiaomi India finally announced the Xiaomi 11i and 11i Hypercharge smartphones in the country. The phones sport a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Both models are powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G SoC with Dual SIM 5G capability.
These have up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. On the optics front, both the Xiaomi 11i and 11i Hypercharge utilize a triple camera setup which comprises a 108MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. They have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and IR blaster. Selfies on both models are managed by 16MP sensors.
The difference between both phones lies in the battery capacity and charging speeds. The Xiaomi 11i gets a large 5,160mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging while the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge gets a 4,500mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.
The Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge also becomes India’s first phone to support 120W fast charging with the charger bundled within the package while the vanilla Xiaomi 11i gets a 67W charger bundled.
Pricing and Availability
The Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge come in Purple Mist, Camo Green, Pacific Pearl, and Stealth Black colors. Xiaomi 11i is priced at INR 24,999 for the 6GB/128GB model and the top end 8GB/128GB model costs INR 26,999.
The Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge on the other hand is priced at INR 26,999 for the 6GB/128GB model and the 8GB/128GB model costs INR 28,999. Both the phones will be available from mi.com, Flipkart, and Mi Home stores from January 12th.
Apart from this Xiaomi will also be selling the 120W Fast Charger separately for INR 3,999.
