Xiaomi’s Redmi sub-brand is set to launch a new product in India later this month, according to the company’s recent announcement. The new Fire TV will be the first TV to run on Fire OS, as opposed to the Android TV OS used in most of Xiaomi’s other models. With a 32-inch display, the TV promises to offer a premium experience, including functioning as a smart hub control. The new remote features a shortcut for Alexa, as well as quick launch buttons for Prime Video, Netflix, and Amazon Music.
The Redmi Fire TV boasts metallic bezels and offers immersive audio and visual experiences. The TV comes equipped with Dual band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, Airplay, and Miracast for connectivity. The eco-friendly packaging can also be cut open and repurposed as a Mi Bunny storage unit.
The new Redmi Fire TV will be available for purchase on both the official Xiaomi website and the Amazon India website. The product is scheduled to launch on March 14, with pricing details yet to be revealed. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting release.
