Write A Prompt That Produces Sad Pop Instead Of Generic Sad Music
Put the musical identity and the story in the same prompt. For example:
“Sad pop, 92 BPM, A minor, intimate female vocal, verse about seeing an ex’s jacket by the door, sparse felt piano and muted electric guitar, soft kick and brushed snare, rising pre-chorus, wide emotional chorus, modern clean production, bittersweet ending.”

Generate And Select The First Draft
- Paste the brief into your chosen generator and create several variations, changing one element at a time: tempo, key, vocal perspective, or chorus intensity.
- Mark the version with the clearest chorus melody and the most believable vocal phrasing, even if its verse is imperfect.
