Use a free stem separator, upload the song, download or export the vocal stem, then lower or mute the instrumental stem. On a Xiaomi or Redmi phone, the simplest routes are Moises or BandLab Splitter because both list Android support; browser tools such as VocaSplitter and Stemelo also work without installing desktop software.

Prepare The Track On Your Xiaomi Phone
- Make a copy of the original audio so the source remains untouched.
- Trim the file to the section you actually need. Moises limits free files to 5 minutes, while BandLab Splitter accepts uploads up to 15 minutes.
- Use a clear file name such as song-voice-source.mp3. Keep the original artist and source information with the copy.
- Decide whether you need a sung vocal stem or a spoken voice-over. Stem splitters are designed around musical sources, so speech mixed with music can retain instrumental bleed.
Method 1: Isolate Voice With Moises On Android
- Open Moises on your Android phone or use its web version and start a new upload.
- Select the copied track and choose the available vocal separation option. The free plan has limited separation options.
- Wait for processing, solo the vocal stem, and listen through headphones for music leakage, reverb or doubled vocals.
- Export the vocal result in a format Moises offers, such as MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A or OGG. The free plan allows up to five uploads per month and files up to five minutes.
- If the voice is still masked, try a shorter, cleaner section or compare the same passage in another separator.
Method 2: Use BandLab Splitter For A Quick Android Edit
- Open BandLab Splitter on Android or the web and sign in with a BandLab account.
- Upload the track, staying within the 15-minute upload limit.
- Choose the free four-stem split, then solo Vocals. The free tier provides vocals, bass, drums and other instruments.
- Adjust volume, mute unwanted stems, and export audio or MIDI, or open the separated stems in BandLab Studio.
- Save the resulting vocal file with a new name so you can return to the original mix.
Method 3: Download A Vocal Stem In Your Browser
VocaSplitter
- Open VocaSplitter in Chrome on the Xiaomi phone; no account is required.
- Upload the song and select a two-, three- or five-stem mode.
- Download the vocal stem as an individual WAV or as part of a ZIP. The service lists unlimited splits and no upload limit, but files over about 15 minutes can time out.
Stemelo
- Sign up to Stemelo and upload a short track.
- Use the four-stem result to solo Vocals and preview the section.
- Spend the one free export only after checking the preview. Stemelo lists three free uploads, 60-second previews and one free export; exports are documented as MP3 and signed-in uploads are limited to 15 minutes.

Clean Up And Recombine The Isolated Voice
- Listen to the exported vocal with headphones and mark sections where drums, bass or the original backing remain.
- Trim silence and unwanted lead-in or tail audio on the device or editor you normally use.
- For a voice-over, keep the isolated voice on one track and place the music on another. Lower the music until every word is intelligible, then export a new mix.
- For a sung vocal, keep the instrumental muted when you need an a cappella file, or mute only the vocal when you need karaoke.
- Keep both the isolated file and the original. A second separator or a shorter upload can produce a different balance of bleed.
Consent And Use Rights
Only upload audio you are allowed to process, including the singer’s or speaker’s voice. If you plan to publish, share, remix or monetize the isolated track, check the source recording’s permissions and the selected platform’s current terms. A free processing tier does not by itself grant permission to use someone else’s voice, song or recording.
