Write A Metal Beat Prompt
Metal beats need deliberate contrast: a fast kick pattern, a firm snare backbeat, syncopated chugs, short fills and sections that leave space for riffs. Put those instructions in separate parts of the prompt so revisions are easier.
- Style: name a target such as metalcore, thrash metal or groove metal, while avoiding a claim that the service officially supports that subgenre.
- Tempo: provide a BPM target, such as 170 BPM for a fast thrash feel.
- Drums: request double-kick passages, tight kick-and-chug syncopation, accented crashes and a half-time breakdown.
- Arrangement: specify an intro, verse, pre-chorus, chorus, breakdown and ending, with bar-length transitions.
- Texture: ask for a dry, tight kit and room for low-tuned guitars; add bass movement only if you want a complete rhythm bed.
