You can make an AI vocal cover more responsibly by using a song you are allowed to use, choosing a voice you have permission to use, checking the cover tool’s terms, and being transparent if you publish it. On a Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO phone, start with a web tool in your browser or use VocalMe’s listed Android app; the available information does not establish that any tool clears rights to the underlying song for you.
Choose A Cover Tool For Your Phone
| Tool | What It Can Do | Rights And Platform Notes |
|---|---|---|
| FineShare Singify | Web cover generator with solo, duet, and chorus modes, pitch and key controls, and MP3 or FLAC downloads. | Web only; commercial use is restricted under its service terms. |
| Media.io AI Song Cover Generator | Web tool that accepts audio or video, previews covers, and exports MP3, FLAC, or WAV. | Free plan allows two tracks for personal use; commercial use and higher download limits require a paid plan. |
| Poppop AI Cover Generator | Web and iOS cover creator that accepts audio, video, and online-video inputs, with 46 AI voices and custom voice cloning. | Commercial use is restricted by its terms. Android availability is not established in the listed details. |
| VocalMe | Android, iOS, and macOS app that replaces a song’s voice while preserving melody and rhythm; supports custom voice cloning from an audio sample. | Paid product with a seven-day trial; app-store pricing varies by country. Check its terms for your intended use. |
Prepare The Song And Voice Permission
- Pick a track you have permission to use for the cover and the way you plan to share it. The tool descriptions do not establish that uploading a track or paying for a subscription grants rights to the song.
- If the target voice is based on a real person, get that person’s authorization before cloning or impersonating them. Spotify says impersonation is allowed only when the artist has authorized it; that statement describes Spotify’s policy, not a universal legal rule. Spotify’s September 2025 AI music policy announcement
- On your Xiaomi, Redmi, or POCO, keep the permitted source audio accessible in your files, then open the chosen web tool in your browser or VocalMe on Android. Upload limits and accepted file formats are not established for every tool, so check its upload screen and vendor terms before preparing a long or large file.
Create And Review The Vocal Cover
- Upload the permitted song or audio sample using the tool’s cover workflow. For Media.io, audio and video uploads are listed; for Poppop, audio, video, and online-video inputs are listed. Do not assume another input type is supported by a different product.
- Choose a voice you are authorized to use. For an original, non-impersonating result, use a permitted voice option instead of cloning a recognizable person without consent. Custom voice cloning is available in the listed details for Poppop and VocalMe, and custom voice training is listed for Singify; those features do not replace permission.
- Keep the musical arrangement recognizable by preserving the source’s melody and accompaniment while replacing the vocal. VocalMe specifically describes preserving melody and rhythm; Singify offers pitch and key controls. Other listed tools may have different controls, so check their current interface rather than assuming a vocal-isolation or accompaniment-preservation option exists.
- Preview the result before exporting. Media.io lists previews, and Singify lists MP3 or FLAC downloads. Export choices for the other tools should be confirmed in their interfaces.
Check Terms Before Sharing Or Monetizing
Read the selected service’s current terms for voice use, uploads, downloads, and commercial use. The listed restrictions vary: Singify restricts commercial use under its service terms; Media.io’s free plan is personal use only and commercial use requires a paid plan; Poppop restricts commercial use; VocalMe’s specific commercial terms are not established here. A paid plan is not evidence that you have rights to the song or a real person’s voice.

If you publish on Spotify, its September 2025 policy says an impersonated artist must have authorized the impersonation, and it supports DDEX AI disclosures in credits. Spotify later announced an “AI Persona” badge for artist identities that may be AI-generated rather than a real person. Check Spotify’s current submission and credit requirements before release; the badge announcement does not establish that every AI cover receives a badge. Spotify’s AI Persona badge announcement
