Zoho AP Automation helps finance teams process vendor invoices, route approvals, and manage payments. It scans bills from multiple sources, languages, and formats, then extracts header and line-item data. Multi-stage workflows can follow hierarchical routes or custom criteria and include exception handling. Automatic two-way and three-way matching links purchase orders, invoices, and goods receipt notes. The service supports direct vendor payments via ACH and batch processing, while vendors can use a self-service portal for onboarding, management, communication, and payments. Zoho says Spend can integrate with any ERP, including legacy systems and in-house software. Connected organizations can sync accounts payable transactions and other spend data with Zoho Books. Default and custom reports and audit trails cover bill activity, approvals, payments, comments, and field updates. It works in modern web browsers and has iOS and Android apps. Zoho lists a 14-day trial without a credit card, but requires at least three user licenses. Listed security standards include ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, SOC 2 Type II, and GDPR.
