What VergeOS is
VergeOS is a private cloud infrastructure operating system that combines compute, storage, networking, data protection, and automation in one code base. It runs on standard bare-metal x86 servers, including mixed vendors and hardware generations, with x86_64 guest architecture, VM snapshots, and GPU acceleration. Deployment options include customer-provided hardware, certified partner appliances, or bare metal at a hyperscaler or colocation facility. Virtual Data Centers isolate compute, storage, and networking resources and are included at no additional charge. Integrated data protection and disaster recovery are included. ioMigrate can rehost virtual machines, including networking, node by node without downtime. Packer, Terraform, Ansible, and an API support automation. Security features include segmentation, encryption, authentication, audit logging, and role-based access controls. Pricing is on request, with a 14-day trial.
