Unum Behavioral Health is a workforce mental health benefit presented to employers and plan administrators. It offers employees personalized support and gives employers privacy-protected information about program use and impact. A mobile-friendly wellness hub is available 24/7 and provides access to resources such as articles, videos, webinars, activities, mental health communications, and live training. Self-paced programs address mindfulness, stress management, resilience, burnout, and grief or loss. Provider-led options include an eight-week coaching program with a certified coach and a 12-week treatment program with licensed therapist support. Guided Self-Therapy uses cognitive behavioral therapy tools and automated personalization to create individual programs. The benefit can integrate with existing EAP and medical programs. Employer reports include employee baselining and engagement levels for solution components, with data presented anonymously and in aggregate; employers do not receive individualized information about employees’ support pathways. Unum says it does not provide medical care: treatment is delivered by licensed practitioners affiliated with a third-party partner. Pricing is available on request.
