Searches can cover county, statewide, and federal criminal records, sanction lists, alias and address tracing, plus employment, education, license, driving, and credit checks. Employers can arrange pre-employment, DOT, post-accident, and ongoing drug and alcohol testing, including random testing administration and MRO services. Other offerings include employment physical exams, Form I-9 and E-Verify through LawLogix Guardian, and employment and income checks through VerifyToday. Its portal supports round-the-clock order submission, status updates, reports, and invoicing. Integrated clients can launch checks through ATS or HRIS systems and open reports there; listed pre-integrations include HealthcareSource and Oracle products. Optional eForms collect applicant signatures electronically. Universal states average turnaround is under two days for criminal searches and under three days for verifications.
