What Tacton CPQ is

Tacton CPQ is cloud-based configure-price-quote software for manufacturers selling complex products and capital equipment. Its configurator supports complex product setup and option management for upselling. A pricing engine calculates prices and margins for one-time, recurring, or usage-based offers, while the product can generate branded quotes, technical specifications, certifications, and other documents. Product and pricing experts can define logic and data in a drag-and-drop administration interface using no-code or low-code tools. Visual Configuration creates real-time 3D and AR views as choices are made, and CAD Automation generates 2D and 3D drawings with one click. Tacton describes hundreds of pre-built connectors and open REST APIs, including integrations with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle NetSuite, IFS, and Power BI. It also lists configuration rules, discount approvals, and quote templates. The software is available on the web and through an API. Tacton says it regularly conducts penetration testing, holds ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certifications, and designs security audits to meet GDPR requirements. Pricing is on request, with a demo available.
