What Slidebank is

Slidebank is a web-based service for organizations managing shared PowerPoint slides and presentations online. Users can save, search, share, track, update, and manage material; search covers titles, slide content, speaker notes, and 16 customizable metadata fields. Previous versions of slides and presentations are searchable. When a master slide changes, virtual presentations can update automatically, and affected users can receive email notifications. Administrators can lock slides, require specific slides, set access permissions, and choose presentation expiry dates. Teams can access Slidebank through Salesforce, including single sign-on and a dashboard tab, or use an optional centrally deployed PowerPoint add-in. The service records activity audit trails, including downloads and when they occurred. Slidebank says it uses AWS virtual private clouds and SSL certificates for data encryption in transit; customers can choose US or European hosting. Subscriptions include setup help, tutorials, a training allowance, and ongoing support. Accounts require at least 10 users. Pricing is on request, and a 14-day trial is offered. The company says the web-based solution is designed for short or small video clips up to 1 MB.
