What Scriptmatix is
Scriptmatix is a web-based screenwriting platform for developing, revising, formatting, and submitting screenplay projects. Its Story Engine uses AI to turn shorts, features, pilots, and series into structured drafts, then provides context-aware structural and line-level revision tools. Guided workflows are intended to keep writers in control of the narrative. The service includes screenplay formatting, AI rewriting, screenplay challenges, and competitions, with writer rankings through The Canon. Writers can move a screenplay into Studio Composer, described as an AI-powered media production studio; its planned voice, sound-effect, image, and video tools are marked “COMING SOON.” The Writer’s Room community is free to join with an account, while advanced lessons and perks require a paid plan. Scriptmatix offers web access, a free trial, and no free plan. Listed subscriptions include Starter, Writer, and Producer options with monthly or yearly billing, and cancellation is available anytime without commitment.
