Schedule Beacon is web software for building K-12 master schedules for school districts, counselors, and administrators. Its automated scheduling engine uses school-specific data to generate schedules and balance class loads. Districts can configure scheduling logic for faculty certifications, room capacity, and other local requirements. The service connects to a school’s student information system to import student, course, teacher, and room data. It visualizes scheduling conflicts and provides recommendations for resolving them. Administrators can publish schedules, make real-time edits during the school year, and use automatic conflict detection as changes occur. Timetable generation is automatic, with teacher and room constraints supported. Schedule Beacon is a paid product with pricing available on request. The co-founders, Robby and Chris, say they identified the scheduling problem during a business research project at Alfred University and interviews with education staff.
