PST Repair Kit is designed to recover information from corrupted Microsoft Outlook PST and OST files. It can recover email, attachments, contacts, calendar records, tasks, and notes, and can rebuild folder hierarchy when enough structural information remains. Users can preview recovered content and select folders or items before exporting. Recovered mail can be saved as PST, MSG, or EML files, while contacts can be saved as VCF files; available OST data can also be converted to PST. The product supports ANSI and Unicode PST files, including files larger than 2 GB, as well as supported password-protected PST and OST files. The site lists Outlook 97 through Outlook 2021 and Outlook for Microsoft 365, but desktop Outlook must be installed at conversion time. The downloadable desktop product is for Windows, while its online recovery service can be used from a phone, tablet, or laptop. Online uploads are automatically deleted from the server in 10 days. The site notes that results depend on which source-file portions remain intact and overwritten data cannot be reconstructed by repairing PST indexes. The online recovery plan costs $10, paid once, payable to download the recovered PST after a free preview; there is no free plan.
