Panzura CloudFS
Panzura CloudFS gives distributed sites access to one authoritative file dataset stored in object storage.
What Panzura CloudFS is
Panzura CloudFS gives distributed sites access to one authoritative file dataset stored in object storage. It serves that shared data over SMB, NFS, and S3, with peer-to-peer locking that propagates across sites and supports simultaneous edits within a file. Immutable snapshots can run as often as every 60 seconds and support point-in-time recovery for files and folders. Geofencing rules apply at the node across all three protocols. Panzura says data is encrypted at rest with AES 256-bit algorithms and in transit with TLS 1.3; it also reports FIPS 140-3 validation for its cryptographic module. CloudFS runs on bare metal and certified hypervisors, and supports a range of object-storage targets. Additional options include Grafana Cloud monitoring, Nexus connections to Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Threat Control for detecting and responding to certain suspicious activity. The hybrid product supports local caching, edge synchronization, and a global namespace. Pricing is available on request.
