NexusFile is a free file manager for Windows, organized around a dual-pane view for moving and copying files between folders. Keyboard shortcuts and destination-folder selection support those operations. Its batch-renaming tool can insert, replace, or delete text, change letter case, add numbering, and handle extensions, with a preview before changes are applied. NexusFile can create ZIP archives and extract selected archive contents; other archive formats require an external program. It also includes duplicate detection, a portable version, and customization for skins, list colors, shortcuts, and function keys. Navigation options include favorite and work folders, a folder tree, and keyboard-driven controls. For deletion, the help guide describes sending files to the recycle bin, permanent removal, and an option that overwrites contents with zeroes before deleting.
