What Mugato is
Mugato is an agentless platform for discovering infrastructure and mapping dependencies across IT, IoT, OT and public cloud environments, including unmanaged assets. It keeps a historical record of servers, applications, processes and connections, retaining process, connection and utilization history at minute-level granularity by default without aggregation or deletion. The platform groups infrastructure into application and business services and maps dependencies between them. Decision intelligence can sequence transformation plans and support impact analysis for upgrades, data center exits, disaster recovery and cloud transformations. Mugato can populate CMDBs such as ServiceNow and Halo ITSM, and integrates with LeanIX, Power BI and SQL-reading systems. A read-only MCP server connects compatible assistants, including Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot, to Mugato metadata; single sign-on in the customer’s identity tenant controls access. Collection uses one customer-provided Windows server or VM, reading Windows metadata through WMI and Linux and Unix metadata through SSH. The collector connects outbound to a dedicated Azure backend. Mugato is paid, with pricing available on request.
