What Mailinblack Protect is

Mailinblack Protect is an email-security solution for companies, public administrations, and healthcare institutions. It provides inbound protection against spam, malware, phishing, and spear-phishing, with outbound protection included in Protect Advanced. Its deep-learning model classifies email characteristics to identify threats as well as legitimate messages, notifications, and newsletters. Secure Link analyzes links in received emails and warns users about dangerous destinations. Administrators can configure filtering, keyword categories, SPF checks, IP exclusions, rules, and alerts. Protect is offered in Cloud or On-Premise configurations and is described as compatible with all messaging systems and hosting providers. Setup materials cover a range of mail services and clients, while a complementary Microsoft 365 solution uses Microsoft APIs to retrieve domains, accounts, and groups and configure connectors. Pricing is available on request. Data Loss Prevention and DKIM signing for Protect Out require Protect Advanced; DLP also requires Protect Out to be enabled and in use.
