Kompare is a free Linux graphical application for viewing and merging differences between source files. It can compare individual files or recursively examine folder contents, and accepts files, folders, or a URL and a file as comparison inputs. Users can adjust how much diff information appears, create and apply patches, and select particular differences to apply from a source to a destination before saving. The application can also create, display, and apply diff files that contain changes between files or folders.
