Staff can use attendance, online activity, assessment submissions and other engagement measures to spot changes in learning behaviour. Notifications and reporting can help identify students who may need support. The service includes attendance monitoring for on-site and remote participation, plus a student web app for viewing engagement data and checking in to teaching or support sessions. Jisc says the upgraded platform integrates with major virtual learning environments, timetabling systems and attendance monitoring solutions. Institutions can request specialist discovery and consultancy to assess readiness, infrastructure and data, including a two-day virtual or on-site evaluation. Attendance geolocation capture is opt-in at institutional and individual levels, with obfuscated location data stored with more restricted access.
