What INDIEGEN is
INDIEGEN is a web-based AI studio for generating game assets, with tools for 2D sprites, animation, tilesets, parallax backgrounds and decoration props. Animated sprites support six body plans and as many as 12 frames, with examples such as idle, walking, running, attacking, hurt and death animations. Its autotile tool produces a 13-tile set alongside an atlas, individual PNG tiles and a manifest. Backgrounds can be built in layers with separate depth and scroll-speed settings, and the tool can extend a background or repair loop seams. The prop library creates distinct decorations and arranges them in a transparent atlas. Users can download spritesheets, frames and a JSON manifest or send assets to Unity, Godot or Unreal. Listed export formats include PNG, GLB, FBX, OBJ, ASEPRITE and JSON. Low-poly 3D models with UV-unwrapped PBR textures, normal maps and rigging are marked as coming soon. INDIEGEN charges per asset at a fixed USD price, paid in $INDIEGEN at the live market rate; it has no subscription or prepaid credits. Failed generations receive a free retry, and the site says payments are burned in full on-chain.
