What EPPI-Reviewer is
EPPI-Reviewer is web-based software for managing and analysing literature-review data, including systematic reviews and meta-analyses. It stores references and PDF files and supports qualitative and quantitative analysis, including meta-analysis and thematic synthesis. Automation tools include deduplication, study clustering, priority screening and study-type classifiers, as well as RobotReviewer and Human Behaviour Change Project tools. A review can connect to one Zotero Group Library to exchange data and locate or upload full-text documents. OpenAlex tools support Boolean searches, citation chasing, review updates and machine-learning suggestions for new records. The service says it supports reviews of different sizes, with some existing reviews containing over a million items. A free one-month trial requires a user account and allows unlimited non-shareable reviews; a shareable trial review can be arranged through support. When an account or shareable review expires, access becomes read-only until access is purchased or extended. A user fee is £10 a month, and a shareable review costs £35 a month per review. Each member of a shared review needs an active user account.
