EhlerTech User Profile Central, or UPC, backs up Windows user profiles to a network share and restores them to another computer or profile. It supports moves between PCs, local and domain profiles, different users, and different Windows versions. UPC uses Microsoft’s User State Migration Tool, transferring settings and user data but not applications. Profiles can be backed up while users remain logged in, and the product includes XML files tailored for USMT migrations. Version 2.5 adds quick selection by last login, an option to ignore local users, VHD disk backup, and backup and restore history logs. Installation requires a Windows 10 or 11 workstation and a UNC path for profile storage. Migration accounts need local administrator rights and specified network permissions.
