What DTM Data Generator is

DTM Data Generator creates test rows and schema objects for database population, QA, performance analysis and load testing. It can inspect an existing schema and resolve master-detail key relationships, then fill fields through 15 generation methods. Its engine includes about 70 built-in functions and an expression processor. Input values can come from databases, CSV or text files, Excel, XML, JSON, web resources and user-defined scripts. Connections use ODBC, OLE DB or Oracle Call Interface; JDBC is available through the multiplatform runtime. Supported databases include SQL Server, Oracle, IBM DB2, Sybase, Informix, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Interbase/Firebird and SQLite. Generated data can be loaded directly or saved as SQL scripts, text/CSV, XML or JSON; XML and JSON output require Professional or Enterprise. It also supports selective updates, appends, replacement and scrambling, with scrambling limited to Enterprise. The self-hosted software supports Linux, macOS and Windows. It is paid, has no free plan and offers a free trial.
