What Digital Rebar Provision is
Digital Rebar Provision is an enterprise bare metal automation platform for managing hardware from delivery through decommissioning across Day 0, Day 1 and Day 2 operations. At first boot, it can provision RAID, BIOS, firmware, operating systems and initial configuration. Lifecycle tools include patching, baseline enforcement, drift detection, rebuilds, secure wiping, auditing and hardware reclassification. Ready-to-use automation covers Windows, RHEL, Ubuntu, ESXi, OpenShift, Proxmox, Kubernetes and major hardware OEMs.
The API-first platform exposes workflows, machine states, parameters and logs, and supports websocket events, PATCH and Swagger. Its workflows and roles are immutable content for version control and staged rollout. Multi-Site Manager coordinates geographically distributed sites while allowing each to operate independently. Digital Rebar runs in the customer environment and is designed for air-gapped operation. It includes single sign-on options, role-based API access controls, access logs and Secure Boot workflows. Pricing is available on request, and a self-trial is available, requiring a Linux instance with at least 4GB RAM and ports 22 and 8090–8092 open.
