What Deckgauge is
Deckgauge is a source-available engineering intelligence platform that brings work activity and delivery measures together on a board. Its read-only connections to Jira, GitHub, GitLab, and Azure DevOps pull issues, pull requests, commits, and activity. Reported measures include DORA metrics, flow and cycle time, review quality, AI-assisted pull request share, and per-engineer workload. Teams can also use focus analysis, configurable contribution rankings, alignment boards, live roadmaps, and CapEx/OpEx reports. The platform runs on customer infrastructure with Docker and stores metrics in customer-controlled Postgres and ClickHouse. Authentication uses Keycloak, which can broker to a customer's identity provider; Microsoft Entra ID is wired and documented, while other OIDC and SAML providers are configured per deployment. Role-based access and fine-grained permissions cover salary data and private manager notes. The Community self-hosted plan is free forever, with uncapped engineers and no metric feature gating; customers operate the infrastructure. A 30-day trial is offered. The product has no SOC 2 report or contractual uptime SLA yet.
