What CaseConnect is

CaseConnect is a web-based matter management and accounts platform for UK law firms. A matter workspace gathers details, parties, documents, tasks, critical dates, time records, and billing information. Firms can create documents from templates, precedents, merge fields, and custom data, then configure practice areas, matter templates, custom fields, and workflows through the administration interface without developers or consultancy. The platform includes client and office account management, billing, and financial workflows; its ledgers are described as built to the SRA Accounts Rules. The client portal supports matter access, while the maker says privileged or confidential documents cannot be published there, client uploads are reviewed by staff, and access can be revoked. An admin-approved, one-way Xero integration exports issued invoices, credit notes, allocated payments, and associated contacts. UK-specific elements include dates, VAT, GBP billing, SRA Accounts Rules, and Land Registry disbursement tracking.
