What Biblioscape is
Biblioscape is reference management software for collecting, organizing, and publishing research information on the web and Windows. It downloads records from more than 40 bibliographic database sites, accepts direct website exports, and searches university and public library catalogs through Z39.50. More than 2,500 library connection files are included. For PDFs, it extracts searchable text and metadata, and 250 import filters support additional records. A Microsoft Word add-in provides drag-and-drop citations with more than 1,000 citation styles. Organizations can share a database over a local network or the internet. The installed BiblioWeb server makes a database available through desktop and smartphone browsers.
