AirMagnet Survey PRO
AirMagnet Survey PRO is Wi-Fi heatmap software for planning networks, conducting site surveys, and checking network designs.
What AirMagnet Survey PRO is
AirMagnet Survey PRO is Wi-Fi heatmap software for planning networks, conducting site surveys, and checking network designs. Its Planner models building materials, attenuation areas, and access point details to estimate access point quantities and locations for new or existing networks, without first deploying access points. The software generates coverage heatmaps and supports active, passive, and iPerf surveys on 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz bands, plus data simulation. It can import walls from CAD floor plans and produce customizable reports. PRO features include outdoor surveys, multi-floor analysis, multiple survey reports, and verification for network design and VoWLAN deployments. It can use AirMapper survey data from specified NetAlly testers and exchange project files with Cisco Prime NCS/WCS. Outdoor survey data can be exported to Google Earth. Windows 11 Pro or Enterprise 64-bit is the listed PC operating system. MacBook Pro use requires a supported Windows environment through Boot Camp or a virtual machine. A free plan is listed, but no purchase price is shown.
