Poco X5 with SD695, 5000mAh battery, 120Hz Display launched in India for less than Rs.20,000

POCO has introduced its latest addition to the mid-range X series of smartphones in India. The newly launched Poco X5 boasts a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that offers Corning Gorilla Glass protection, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1200 nits of peak brightness, and SGS certification for enhanced eye protection. The screen also supports a 100 percent DCI P3 color gamut. The rear of the phone features a triple camera setup on a large camera island, which includes the brand’s logo. The phone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC paired with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage on the top model.

The POCO X5 has a triple camera system at the back, which includes a 48 MP primary camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2 MP macro sensor. The front-facing camera is a 13 MP selfie shooter, placed in a punch-hole cut out at the center. It is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports up to 33W fast charging. Other features of the device include IP53 water and dust resistance, a 3.5mm headphone jack with Hi-Res audio support, an IR Blaster, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and more.

The POCO X5 5G is set to release in India with two storage options. The model with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage is priced at Rs. 18,999, while the 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant cost Rs. 20,999. On the first day of the sale, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is offering a bank discount and an exchange offer worth Rs. 2,000. The POCO X5 5G will be available for purchase from March 21 and will come in three colors: Jaguar Black, Wildcat Blue, and Supernova Green. It is going to be sold exclusively on Flipkart.
