Suno is the strongest fit for experimental music on a Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO phone: its style controls include a weirdness slider, and the app is available on Android. For hands-on rhythmic experiments, Baza Drums offers an explicit Chaos control, but it is a Windows and macOS tool rather than a phone app. The other picks are best treated as ways to explore unusual electronic parts or abrupt genre changes; their listed features do not establish dedicated support for experimental music as a genre.
Best AI Experimental Music Generators At A Glance
| Rank | Tool | Useful Experimental Lever | Output Or Workflow | Phone Fit |

| 2 | Baza Drums | Chaos control, where higher means more experimental | Editable MIDI drum patterns for a DAW | Windows and macOS |
| 3 | Beat Shaper | Genre, mood, energy and syncopation controls | Editable electronic parts, loops and arrangements | Browser-based; phone support is not stated |
| 4 | Eleven Music | Genre transitions and section editing | Full songs with vocals or instrumental tracks | Web and API; Android app is not stated |
What To Look For In An Experimental Music Generator
Experimental music often starts with a process rather than a conventional song brief: constrain the palette, introduce an unexpected change, then keep or reshape the parts that work. On a phone, it also helps if you can try a prompt quickly and listen back without needing a desktop production setup. A generator’s broad genre list alone does not show that it can make noise music, musique concrète, microtonal work, or any other specific experimental style. Check the vendor’s current capabilities for those specifics.

Try prompts that describe a musical procedure instead of naming a niche genre the tool may not support. For example: “Instrumental electronic piece, sparse metallic pulses, uneven pauses, slowly shifting texture, no conventional chorus.” If the result sounds too orderly, change one instruction at a time—such as asking for less repetition or a more abrupt transition—so you can hear which prompt change matters. These are prompt ideas, not guaranteed product features.
Ranked Picks
1. Suno — Best For Experimental Ideas On Android
Suno is the clearest phone-first choice because its Android app is listed and its style controls specifically include weirdness alongside exclusions and other steering options. That makes it the most directly supported pick here for asking a complete-song generator to take less predictable stylistic directions. Suno also generates vocals, lyrics and production from a text prompt, and supports song editing, remixing, extensions, section replacement and stem export.

On your Xiaomi, Redmi or POCO, start with a short instrumental prompt that specifies texture, pacing and one deliberate surprise; then adjust the weirdness or style direction if the result comes out too conventional. Treat named experimental subgenres, unusual tunings and particular sound-design techniques as unconfirmed unless Suno’s current interface or documentation says they are supported. The free plan does not include commercial rights or stem separation, and the Pro plan’s stated download limit is 20 songs per month. Get consent before using a real person’s voice or material, and check Suno’s terms for the rights that apply to your plan and intended use.
2. Baza Drums — Best For Unpredictable Drum Patterns
Baza Drums is a focused option if your experiment begins with rhythm. Its Chaos control is explicitly described as making generation more adventurous at higher settings, and it creates editable MIDI drum grooves. You can choose style-inspired models such as House, Breakbeat and Hybrid, then bring the MIDI into a compatible DAW for further shaping. The listed platforms are Windows and macOS, so this is a desktop production step rather than a mobile generator.

- Record and Compose Without a Computer - Connect to your production station and use the built-in 64-step sequencer featuring one track for drums and one for melodies or chords, with up to 8 notes each
A useful starting brief is a short Breakbeat or Hybrid pattern with Chaos raised, followed by editing the MIDI until the accents and gaps create the tension you want. The tool is documented as a drum-pattern generator, not a full-song or experimental sound-effects generator; check its site for current format and host details. Its listed price is a €59 one-time purchase, with no free plan listed. If you incorporate sampled or recorded material in a finished piece, make sure you have permission to use it and review the applicable product terms.
3. Beat Shaper — Best For Experimental Electronic Arrangements
Beat Shaper is a browser-based production workspace for electronic music. It generates editable drums, basslines, synth parts, loops and arrangements, with controls for genre, mood, energy and syncopation. Those controls give you useful ways to destabilize a beat or reshape its feel, though the listed styles—such as Techno, House, Acid, Drum & Bass, Hip-Hop and Trance—do not establish support for every experimental subgenre.

- The MPC Experience - 8 backlit velocity-sensitive MPC-style MIDI beat pads with Note Repeat and Full Level for programming drums, triggering samples and controlling virtual synthesizer / DAW controls
Try building a restrained electronic sketch, then push syncopation and energy in separate passes while editing the parts that remain useful. Its loops are described as compatible with popular DAWs, including Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase and FL Studio. Beat Shaper runs in a browser; whether its editing interface works well on your phone is not stated, so check before relying on a mobile-only workflow. Starter downloads are limited to MP3 and non-commercial use; Creator and Producer include commercial use. Review the plan terms and get consent for any voice or sample you add.
4. Eleven Music — Best For Abrupt Genre Shifts
Eleven Music supports full songs with vocals, lyrics or instrumental arrangements, plus section editing, inpainting, genre transitions and audio references. Its stated example of moving from opera to heavy metal within one continuous song points to a concrete experiment: ask for a deliberate clash or transition, then revise a section without rebuilding everything. The listed access is through web and API, so an Android app is not established.

For a Xiaomi phone, try the web workflow with a prompt that names two contrasting moods or styles and describes where the change should happen. The available facts do not establish support for specific experimental genres or mobile editing behavior; check the vendor’s site for both. The free plan is limited to personal use and browse-only Marketplace access. Commercial rights vary by subscription tier and exclude film, TV and studio games according to the listed limitation. Get consent for real voices or source audio, and check the current terms for your plan and use.

If you want to generate and revise an idea directly on Android, start with Suno. If the experiment depends on fine control of a drum groove, Baza Drums’ Chaos control and editable MIDI are a better fit, with the tradeoff that the listed platforms are desktop systems. Beat Shaper offers editable electronic arrangements in a browser, while Eleven Music is the more specifically documented choice for stitching contrasting genres into a song. For unsupported details—especially niche genre coverage, phone usability, and the rights attached to a particular export—check the product’s current site before building a project around them.
