Xiaomi has launched the Smart TV 5A Pro in India. The new smart TV comes across as an upgrade over the Smart TV 5A that the company had introduced in April this year. That is not all as the new Smart TV 5A Pro will also be succeeding the Mi TV 4A Pro that Xiaomi HD introduced in the country about three years ago.

Coming to the Xiaomi Smart TV 5A Pro, it comes with a 32-inch HD display with a premium metal casing and ultra-thin bezels all around. All of this translates to an astounding 96 percent screen-to-body ratio with the lower chin comparatively thicker than the rest. The lower chin otherwise hosts the Xiaomi branding as well as an LED indicator. The TV comes with the Vivid Picture Engine which promises pictures of the highest quality. There is ALLM or Auto Low Latency Mode built-in as well though the max refresh rate stands at 60Hz. For audio, there are a pair of stereo speakers having support for Dolby Audio and DTS:X tech. The twin speakers allow for a max sound output of 24W.

At its core, the Smart TV 5A Pro features an ARM Cortex A-55 processor that is paired with 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. The smart TV offers a host of connectivity options, which include a pair of USB ports and three HDMI 2.1 ports. Then there is support for Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, ALLM, and Miracast. The smart TV also comes integrated with Chromecast and Google Assistant for enhanced user convenience. The TV runs Android 11 with the company’s own PatchWall UI running on top.

Among the smart features that the Smart TV 5A Pro comes with include a special kids mode and universal search. Besides, it supports live sports and IMDB integration as well along with plenty more features. All of the above for a price of Rs. 16,999 makes the new Xiaomi Smart TV 5A Pro quite a lucrative offering. The new TV can be bought online from Mi.com or offline via the Mi Home stores. It is also going to be available via Flipkart and Amazon though Xiaomi is yet to announce a specific launch schedule as yet.
