Xiaomi is all set to take the tech world by storm with the unveiling of its latest Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro tablets in China. Now the good news here is that the official launch date has finally been confirmed by the company, which should culminate the series of leaks and rumors that we have had on this over the past few months. The buzz around the tablets is at an all-time high, and fans are eagerly awaiting the official launch to get their hands on these next-gen devices.
The highly anticipated Xiaomi Pad 6 series tablets are set to launch on April 18th. While the Pro model will offer premium specs, the vanilla Pad 6 will cater to mid-range buyers. The latest teasers have revealed that the vanilla Pad 6 will feature the Snapdragon 870 SoC, which may sound like a brand new chipset, but it’s actually a rebranded version of the Snapdragon 865 that powered the Pad 5 Pro from last year. However, Xiaomi has made significant improvements to the chip, making it faster and more efficient than its predecessor.

According to a recent FCC listing, the Xiaomi Pad 6 series tablet with the model number 23043RP34G will be equipped with a battery rated with a capacity of 4,320mAh, which is equivalent to a 4,500mAh battery. The device is also expected to come with a charging adapter that supports fast charging up to 33W.
The FCC listing has also confirmed that the device will run on the latest Android 13 operating system based on the MIUI 14 user interface. Additionally, the device is expected to support dual-band Wi-Fi, which includes both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. These features suggest that the Xiaomi Pad 6 series will offer an excellent user experience with a powerful battery, fast charging capabilities, and a smooth operating system, making it a compelling option for potential buyers.
